Dr Gabriella Bottari is a pediatric intensivist. She is a staff member of Pediatric Intensive Care in Children's Hospital Bambino Gesù, Rome. She is specialist in Anesthesia and Intensive Care and in Pediatrics. Field of interest: pediatric septic shock and hyper-inflammatory syndrome in critically ill children. Research areas of interest: extracorporeal blood purification techniques in pediatric critical care , biomarkers of sepsis. She is actually deputy chair of the Infection, Systemic Inflammation and Sepsis section of the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC) and section chair of the Italian working group on "Peditaric Continuos Renal Replacement Therapy" of the Italian Society of Pediatric and Neonatal Anesthesia and Intensive Care, (SARNEPI).
