Perchiazzi G.

Medical Doctor, Specialist in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, PhD in Clinical Physiology and Associate Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden. He is responsible of the Respiratory Research at the Hedenstierna Laboratory of the same university and works clinically in the intensive care units of Akademiska Sjukhuset (Uppsala University Hospital). His research field is artificial ventilation applied to intensive care patients. Together with his team studies respiratory mechanics by using numerical analysis of lung images (CT, PET and Synchrotron Radiation Computed Tomography) and methods of artificial intelligence applied to respiratory tracings.
