Gawronski O.

Orsola Gawronski, RN, MSN, PhD, is a nurse coordinator currently working for the Professional Development, Continuing Education, and Research Unit at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital IRCCS in Rome, Italy. Her clinical background is pediatric critical care. She leads research, quality improvement and patient safety projects particularly in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting. She leads the implementation and maintenance of the Bedside Pediatric Early Warning System, the in-hospital cardiac arrest registry and simulation training at the hospital. She coordinates the hospital’s AHA Training Center. Since June 2021 she is the past ESPNIC Nursing President. She has been teaching research methods at the Nursing Science Master’s program at the Sacred Heart Catholic University of Rome for 8 years. One of her interests is how to involve parents of critically ill or deteriorating patients in the care of their child.
