Franki is a chair of the Department of Anasthesia and Intensive Care Medcine in FNKV University of Prague. Apart from being practicing intensivist, he does research in bioenergetics, muscle metabolism and acid base. He likes teaching, acid base in particular, and is currently chairing Education and Training in ESICM. He is the founder of Intensive Care Fundamentals © Course
