Professor De Rosa’s areas of special interest include infections in critically ill, immunocompromised and transplanted patients, candidaemia and early-onset candidaemia, invasive candidiasis, infective endocarditis, pneumonia, and nosocomial infections. Pharmacology of antibiotics and antifungals in special hosts, hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, acute hepatitis C and HCV-associated cryoglobulinaemia. Author or Co-Author more than 200 papers or book chapters in Italian and English (Scopus: 242 papers, h-Index 38).
