Board member of the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, Seminars of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia and Current Anesthesiology Reports. Reviewer for international peer-review journals in the field of intensive care, cardiothoracic anaesthesia, heart failure, echocardiography. Main research interests are in perioperative echocardiography, hemodynamic monitoring, pathophysiology of hemodynamic changes in septic shock, cardiothoracic anaesthesia, cardiovascular intensive care, acute heart failure. Invited speaker at international meetings, congresses and echocardiography courses. Author of books and chapters in international books. Author of manuscripts published in peer-review journals.
