Collino F.

Dr Francesca COLLINO graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Turin, in 2012. She attended the School of Specialization in Anesthesia and Critical Care in Turin. As specialist in training, she spent 15 months working at the University of Medicine in Goettingen-Germany as a member of the research group of Prof. M. Quintel and Prof. L. Gattinoni. In Goettingen she participated in preclinical and clinical studies about mechanical ventilation lung injuries and CO2 removal in physiological and pathological conditions. She specialized in July 2019. In September 2019 she started working at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano, Milan as anesthesiologist and intensivist. She cooperated with research groups about ventilaory induced lung injury and hemodynamic monitoring in ICU. In January 2021 she moved back to Turin and started working as intensivist at Città della Salute e della Scienza – Molinette. In February 2022 she won a research position at Città della Salute e della Scienza – Turin University. She still cooperates with the research group of the University of Goettingen, focusing on ventilatory induced lung injury and venous-venous extracorporeal life support.
