Marlies Ostermann is a Consultant in Critical Care and Nephrology at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital in London. She has a special clinical and research interest in all aspects of acute kidney injury and renal replacement therapy. She is Chair of the AKI section of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and an active member of the Intensive Care Society UK, the Renal Association and the International Society of Nephrology.
