Physician specialized in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2003. Experienced in intensive care, anaesthesiology and emergency medical service (including HEMS). He is currently practicing as Consultant in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Anesthesia Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE. Tommaso is now author and coauthor of 84 peer-reviewed publications on PubMed, including the TTM-trial published on the NEJM for whichaPhysician specialized in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2003. Experienced in intensive care, anaesthesiology and emergency medical service (including HEMS). He is currently practicing as head of department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the university affiliated hospital of Pordenone, AS Friuli Occidentale, Italy. Prior to this Tommaso was head of department at the Card. G. Panico in Tricase and a consultant in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Anesthesia Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE. Tommaso is now author and co-author of 96 peer-reviewed publications on PubMed, including the TTMtrial published on the NEJM for which he was part of the steering committee and national investigator for Italy. His main area of interest for clinical research is postresuscitation care, target temperature management and prognostication after cardiac arrest. He is also member of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation for the 2015 Consensus on Science and Treatment Recommendations and co-author of the 2015 ERC Guidelines on Advanced Life Support. He is also a fellow of the European Resuscitation Council. he was part of the steering committee and as national investigator for Italy. His main area of interest for clinical research is post-resuscitation care, target temperature management and prognostication after cardiac arrest.
