Heunks L.

Leo Heunks is pulmonologist-intensivist and professor of intensive care at the Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam (NL). His main areas of interest include effects of critical illness on respiratory muscles, mechanical ventilation, ventilator weaning and respiratory physiology. Currently he is chair of the ERS respiratory critical care assembly and associated editor for the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. In his spare time he loves running and watch football.
