Marini J.J.

John J. Marini, is currently Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota and Director of Physiological and Translational research for the HealthPartners Research Foundation. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and has served previously as faculty at the University of Washington (Seattle) and at Vanderbilt University (Nashville). His research focus has always been on the applied physiology and management of acute respiratory failure—a field to which he has contributed >350 original and educational articles as well as 10 books and monographs.
