Laffey J.

Professor of Anaesthesia Intensive Care Medicine at the School of Medicine of the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Galway University Hospitals. He is the Director of Clinical Research at NUI Galway and the Saolta University Hospital Group, and vice-dean for Research at the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at NUI Galway. His basic and translational research is focused on acute respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis, with a focus on regenerative medicines for the critically ill.
