Roberta Costa graduated ‘magna cum laude’ in Medicine and Surgery at the University ‘La Sapienza’ of Rome in 1999. She specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine in 2004 at the Catholic University of Rome. Since 2006 she is the senior researcher of the VentiLab of the Catholic University of Rome and her main research topics are: patient-ventilator interaction, innovative interfaces for non invasive ventilation, modeling of adult and pediatric mechanical ventilation.
Roberta Costa has been regularly invited in the last six years to several Italian and International congresses with lectures mainly dedicated to patient-ventilator interaction and non-invasive ventilation.
