Caironi P.

Pietro Caironi is Associate Professor in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Milan (Milan, Italy), and part of the Medical Staff of the General Intensive Care Unit of the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda – Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico (Milan, Italy). He completed his post-graduate training program in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the same Institution.
In his research-training program, he spent about 3 years as a Research Fellow at the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care of the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA.
His main research interests focus on sepsis, including fluid therapy and albumin, acid-base equilibrium, including urinary electrolyte monitoring, and ARDS.
